Meanwhile, here in S. Africa we are celebrating Freedom Day today. It commemorates the first post-apartheid elections held on this day in 1994 where anyone of voting age, regardless of race, was allowed to vote. We're celebrating like we would celebrate most summer holidays in the states. With a braai!
