"Mommy!"

Sometimes that word comes in the form of a whining, nagging utterance that causes me to pray for patience to last the day. Praying that I don't go bald from pulling my hair out from the words that seem to grate at every nerve.

But some days...yes, some days that word comes in the form of a gentle, loving sound that touches my heart in the warmest way. Asking for a simple, warm cuddle, a book to read together, games to play, or playtime involving mommy and her two munchkins. Yes, those are the times I treasure and never want to end. And those are the times that make being a "Mommy" all worth it...
