My Shalom
12:13 AMThanks to a photo shoot with my husband, I can show off my latest knit...for me! I very rarely make things for myself but I've had my eye on this since before all my Christmas knitting. Made with only 1 skein of Cascade Yarns Ecological Wool for $15! That's an incredible price for a sweater.
After a little shaping around the armholes, it fits perfect. I am very happy with this little cardigan of mine, and somehow I think the name is significant for me in this season...Shalom... I know it's just a sweater and the designer might have just picked a name, but as I look to this next season, peace just seems to be the word that rolls off my tongue.
Yes, that is going to be my word for 2010...shalom...peace. As I wear this little knit, it will be a little reminder to look to God and seek His peace in my life, in my family. This cardigan even hugged my body as I brought in the New Year. Yes, it must be significant. Ok, now I'm just getting cheesy...
