What I Learned In Oregon

12:20 AM

I had never been to Oregon, until last weekend when we went for the memorial.  Unfortunately I wasn't really in a picture taking mood.  I did, however, make some observations as I visited this state for the first time.

There's lots of sheep. I had no idea!

The people of Junction City like their old cars!

It rains a lot this time of year leaving a plush green carpet.

It's great to re-unite with old friends, even if it's over Mexican food outside of Texas. :)

Ambrosia in downtown Eugene has killer pizzas and calzones.

Marie Callender's is a restaurant, not just the brand of a frozen pie in the grocer's freezer section.

Home of the police car from The Dukes Of Hazzard!  Not really, but this made me think of it!

  2. I don't even know where Oregon is.

    Somewhere up north, maybe...near Michigan??

Or maybe out west....who knows? Certainly not me

But it sure looks pretty and anywhere that has good pizza is a great place to be!

  3. Yes, I'm very leary of Mexican food outside of Texas...but more importantly, I'm sorry for your loss.
