Several weeks ago I signed up to review a product from DaySpring.  Although I had to choose my top three picks and they would choose one for me, I was secretly hoping that the Cross Serving Tray was the one that ended up in my hands.  I already had visions of tea parties and serving guests dancing around in my head.  Can you imagine my surprise when Mr. FedEx dropped the serving tray at my door!?

We are a family who holds hospitality as a strong value.  One of the greatest compliments I've ever received was when someone told me they felt peace and the presence of God when they entered my home.  I believe that's a huge part of serving the Lord as well as holding to a standard of making people feel welcomed and serving those who enter my home.  That's an attitude of the heart, but receiving this serving tray provided me with something physical to carry out my hospitality values.

I couldn't think of a better way to review this beautiful tray than with a special tea party with my girlie!  The menu included scones, apple butter, strawberries, and apple juice with a special dose of girlie giggles and furry friends.

In all honesty, I absolutely love this tray.  It's thick and sturdy.  It was plenty big to hold everything on my menu.  It's beautiful with the cross in the middle and the earth tone colors.  It even looks good on display when not used for serving.
