growing with hermie {giveaway}

1:16 AM

What better way to start off a new month with a little review and giveaway!  Can you believe it's September already?  I certainly can't.  That means one anniversary and two birthdays for us this month.  It also means only 33 more days until new Hermie books are available on the shelves!

Thank You, God, For Blessing Me (Max Lucado's Little Hermie)    Thank You, God, For Loving Me (Max Lucado's Little Hermie)    Hermie, a Common Caterpillar (Max Lucado's Hermie & Friends)

My daughter is six and I have to admit that this is our first introduction to Hermie.  My response has been one of, "Where have you been all my life?"  We loved reading all the Hermie books!  Hermie, A Common Caterpillar (geared to ages 4-9), has the beautiful message that we are all special and God is doing a perfect work in us.  Isn't that such a beautiful truth to instill in our kids at a young age?  The beautiful butterfly definitely helped bring the message home to my daughter.  She absolutely loves butterflies.

...with all the animals

With a growing reader in our house, I love that, on the outside of the book, it clearly says what level reader it is.  Not only is her knowledge of God's character able to grow with Hermie but also her ability to read.

reading hermie...

Little Hermie is making his debut October 4th in Thank You, God, For Blessing Me and Thank You, God, For Loving Me.  Now little ones aged 0-4 can read along with baby Hermie, learning at a young age to have hearts of thankfulness.  How would you like to win a Hermie extravaganza?  I thought you might like that.

  3. That's so precious! Your photo really takes me back. My 15 year-old used to have a bedroom that looked exactly like that: canopy, pink quilt, covered with stuffed animals... Makes me smile to remember. Now her room's just covered with clothes! :)

  8. Our kids love Hermie! We have 2 of their DVDs. I really appreciate how calm they are. Not too overwhelming or hyper. I also love the way they build children up in the Lord. For that very reason, they've become a favorite of mine, as well as my kids!

    Fun giveaway, Jen!! :)
