triangle is the shape of the day

1:18 AM

My creative efforts this week have involved triangles...lots and lots of triangles.  You could say it's the shape of the day or better yet, the week.  Have you seen those photos with the fun cloth banners sweetly hanging on the wall?  I see them all over the internet and I want them!  How fun would they be to spice up a party or a little girl's room?

pile of triangles

Well, the other day I needed to do something creative, so I began cutting triangles from my scraps of material.  Although I'm not making mine exactly like this, I used a triangle template from Sew 4 Home.

So far I only have 12 made.  It's a work in progress.  I have no idea how many I will need to make, but I think little Miss already has a design plan in her head as far as the arrangement of triangles go.  I did tell her we could hang it in her room.  That was enough for her to insert her design thoughts.  :)

I can't wait to finish this just so I can show it to you!  I hope it looks as pretty hanging on the wall as I'm envisioning in my head.  This is my creative sneak peek for this week.  To see more creative sneak peeks, head over to Studio JRU where Fridays are always an explosion of creativeness!
