We have a globe and love it!
This grandmother needs a map! Europe has changed since my school days. ;) Plus, I've gotten a little rusty on my states in the midwest, too. LOL! blessings ~ tanna

I love maps and globes! Very important! And that map looks lovely.
I completely agree! In our last house I had a while room dedicated to our classroom & I had 2 wall size maps up in there. I miss that! It was a great reference tool for the whole family!
When we were kids and my Dad was in the Army he would pull out our globe and spin it and let us pick our next "tour of duty" by stopping the globe and where-ever our tiny fingers landed we check out if it was a possiblity. It lead to us living in Africa, Taiwan and Panama. It's what has made me want to travel all of my life and to be fearless ;}

Nice article Jen! So true about Geography for the kiddos too. As always...love the pics.
We don't have a paper map but we have a globe that we've had since the kids were in elementary school. I'm amazed at how many times I run to that globe to reference where something is!
I read your article -- great job, Jen! Moreover, I couldn't agree more. :) It's lovely to see how you add to the education of your children -- way to go!
