Well, we wrapped up Christmas this morning when the last of family pulled out of town.  We returned home, packed away the Christmas decorations, and assembled the $10 bookshelves we scored at Ikea yesterday.

We had great Christmas Eve and Christmas day celebrations.  As always I forgot to take photos of the kids opening gifts.  I always feel like I'll miss out on seeing their happy faces.  And they were happy.  They got new bikes for Christmas (they were literally gifts from it when He miraculously provides), and of course, the family spoiled them with Lego sets and art supplies.

It always feels a wee bit sad when Christmas ends.  I love having the decorations up.  I love the excuse to bake.  I love remembering why we celebrate Christmas.  It's a beautiful time.  Hope you also had a beautiful Christmas and that your New Year is happy!  I'll see you back here on Monday.
