a look at 2011

I really can't believe yesterday marked a new year.  I always feel cliche in saying it goes by so fast but it just does!  One of my favorite things to do this time of year is to look back and highlight my favorite posts from the year.  Here's a look at 2011...

January

I enlisted the help of the hair dryer to get my slow moving Emma G ready for school in the morning.

February

We had a crazy Texas winter resulting in school being closed for about a week!  Games, s'mores, and crafts kept boredom at bay.

March

A dream came true as I traveled to India to tell the story of young girls in modern day slavery and the hope that is available for a better life.

April

We celebrated Joshua's 9th birthday with a Lego party!

June

We had a great time in San Antonio with the entire Price clan.  All 12 of us (including 4 strollers) traipsed around Sea World, The Alamo, and other fun hotspots!

What a busy month!  I celebrated my 34th birthday in S. Africa and the kids started a new school year.

September

We celebrated 12 years of marriage as well as another year of life for the birthday duo.

October

We all went to the Texas State Fair (my first time ever to go to the fair) and tried fried bubble gum.  I don't recommend it.

November

I was blown away when asked to go to L.A. for the press junket for Alvin and The Chipmunks : Chipwrecked but not before enjoying Thanksgiving with the fam.

December

Loved hearing the feedback on Jeremy's Acquired Taste blog tour and was so proud of Joshua for taking 3rd place in Number Sense UIL.  Of course, Christmas is always a December highlight.

  6. Great highlights! I loved seeing a little picture of your life!

My highlight for 2011 was sending my husband to Africa for 2 weeks. While I stayed here with the kids, I was with him in spirit. =) Another highlight would have to be our vacation. It was more than a week away, God moved in unprecedented ways in our hearts and it changed our outlook for the rest of the year.

    Happy New Year!
