birthday weekend

With all the recent changes in our lives, I’m afraid these birthdays kind of snuck up on me. My usual preparedness (is that a word?) of weeks of making party favors and planning the menu was simply non-existent. But not my desire to celebrate Jeremy and Emma G and how incredibly much I love them. 

Miss Emma wanted a party with pizza and chocolate cake. I’m wondering if this pizza party thing is becoming a tradition with her. It certainly feels that way. She helped me with the pizzas and even named them. I think she was just a little excited. :)

It was a beautiful day of celebrating with friends. Happy birthday, my loves!
