a matter of trust

Overview

Mia Quinn's life wasn't exactly going smoothly. Having lost her husband to a car accident, she was busy trying to keep the family together, including going back to work for the King County prosecutor's office. But now this? While on the phone with her good friend, Colleen, she heard a gunshot and Colleen's voice went silent. Taking on Colleen's case would mean longer work hours, but she had to find her friend's killer.

Review

I love a good, "keep you on your toes" thriller, and A Matter of Trust by Lis Wiehl was just that. I love how she developed the characters to when, just when you thought you had it figured out, a new character development left you thinking, "No, it can't be that person." The twists and turns of finding the killer not only keeps the book interesting but also leaves you surprised with the curveball thrown at the end. Who killed Colleen Miller and why? Guess you'll have to read A Matter of Trust to find out!

Out of 5 starts, I would rate A Matter of Trust a 4!
