my story noah and daniel {giveaway}

12:00 AM

My kids are on school holiday which comes with an air of excitement for time off but also with a sudden, "I don't know what to do with myself!" reaction. All of the children on our campus go to the same school, so multiply that reaction times 5, and the Moms are going, "Eek!" The other day I had them working in my scullery. Saying "I'm bored," means you need something to do, and I have plenty of house projects to be done.

Yesterday, however, I changed the tune from work to creativity, thanks to Tommy Nelson. As I was reading My Story Noah and My Story Daniel, I thought, "These would be great for the kids to act out!" These books are written in the first person narrative for kids aged 1-4. The pictures and words are great for keeping little kids engaged. These stories are also simple enough for a play for older kids! It was also great because they had to learn which characters they needed to act out the stories, how to work together as a team, and how to get creative with what they had. That means that these books are a perfect addition to your library no matter what ages your kids are AND they encourage creativity, which I love.
