He is handsome either way! My own son, Zack, would take some drastic manuevers with his hair when he was young... long, short, dyed, shaved (come to think of it he had a mowhawk last fall). I loved him any way he wore it. I know that's just the way you feel about Joshua! blessings ~ tanna

Oh! So cute! I love using my dh's old work shirts for night shirts...somehow, it is like I am "inside his skin"...I never thought of this idea! But I will definitely be making some cute shirts for myself now! I like the ric rac - how would you change it? Have it peek out from the hemlines, instead of on top of them? I like it the way it is, but the other way could be good, too...it looks great on you ☺

Lately my seven year old has come home discouraged because of comments her classmates are saying about her being not being a princess because she is does not dress fancy enough. We have told her that being a princess is not about wearing fancy clothes or how you look. But it's about your heart and loving God!! Knowing and loving Jesus with all your heart and having a kind and compassionate heart makes you the most beautiful princess in the world, because it is having a beautiful heart that matters and beauty on the inside is more important than outward beauty!!!

We've always taught that inner beauty is what pleases the Lord. I've had to help the girls show compassion towards others...one day they just stood watching another child who had fallen and was crying...I told them just watching was showing pity, but helping showed compassion and is an example of inner beauty. Hope they carry this lesson throughout life.
